Jane has spent 36 years as an educator. She recently retired as the principal of a large multicultural elementary school in Nashville, TN with students from over 40 countries. A Good News Club was started in her school and is still being held there. She holds a B.A. and a B.S. degree from Welch College and a M.Ed and a M.Ed+30 from Middle Tennessee State University. She is presently working with Vanderbilt University at Peabody College, Trevecca University, and Welch College teaching and mentoring teacher education students. She attends The Donelson Fellowship and is active in their music and drama ministries. She is married to Pete and they have four grown children and are “Papa” and “Gram” to five grandchildren.
