Resources for Kids

The world can be filled with uncertainty. When catastrophes strike, whether they be severe storms or human violence or COVID-19, our children struggle to make sense of it all. Honestly, adults do to, right? We at CEF of Greater Jackson decided to put together a page of resources and helps that you can refer to, now and in the future. Naturally, we believe the ultimate comfort comes from a loving God, through His Spirit, and His “One and Only” Son – Jesus Christ. Bookmark this page as we will be adding new items and resources over time. Please send us a message if you have questions or comments about anything here or on other pages on our site. Thanks!

Video Resources (most by CEF®)

What is U-Nite? God’s Word is shared in a fun, engaging way to draw children to both understand and apply biblical truths to their lives. Verse songs are dynamic ways for children to learn and memorize God’s Word as they sing of God’s promises and commands, the message of salvation, and other biblical truths.

CEF Kid’s Songs! We have some awesome fun songs that you can share with your children. We use these songs in our various club settings and they are often made from scripture verses or teach powerful Biblical truths in a way that children will grasp and retain.

Good News TV! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, churches started live streaming their services for adults. However, churches don’t have enough help to continue ministry to children. CEF is offering free weekly videos on its YouTube channel, U-Nite, with a program for children that can be shared by churches free of charge.

Do you wonder why? This short video begins to answer questions that are on everyone’s minds: Why do so many bad things happen in the world? Why did God allow this to happen? How can I get through this terrible time? Watch this with your children or Sunday school class to start a discussion.

The Story of Jesus for Children – CEF did not produce this wonderful video, but we often use it to show children the story of our risen Savior. It is unique in that it is told throughout by the children appearing in the movie. Thanks goes out to the Jesus Film Project, a CRU Ministry.

Believe In Jesus! You and I have a terrible problem called sin that separates us from God, but there is good news! You can believe in Jesus and have your sins forgiven. If you have never believed in Jesus before and you would like to do that today you can watch this video that will show you how.

Stuck at Home Devotionals? This set of devotionals is designed to help kids deal with challenges they may be facing during this difficult time. Each devotional has been carefully selected from our Wonder Devotional Series to help them recognize that God is still in control.
